Office relocation services – mistakes that make shifting expensive

Before you choose office relocation services, read this. The most common mistake is underestimating the amount of goods. If the vehicle is too small, a second trip is needed, which costs more than booking the right size at the start.

Not mentioning upper floors without a lift, a long walk from the gate or special items like a piano or safe also causes surprises on the day. Share these at the survey and they are included in the price.

Booking at the last minute at month-end, when most leases end, leaves fewer choices. Booking a few days earlier gives you your preferred date and time.

How to prepare your house before shifting

If you are looking for office relocation services, a little preparation saves time and money. Start with the rooms you use least – store room, guest room, books and decoration. Sort each room into keep, sell, donate and throw; every item you do not move saves money and space on the vehicle.

A small advance confirms the date, and the balance is paid after the move, in cash or by bank transfer. There are no extra charges on the day unless you add items or services.

If you need to change the date, tell us at least a day before and we will move the booking at no cost.

Best time to shift your home

A common question about office relocation services. Month-end and the first days of the month are the busiest because most rental agreements change then. Mid-month and mid-week dates are easier to book.

In summer, start early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat; in the monsoon keep a little extra time and make sure the vehicle is fully covered. Winter mornings are cold but ideal for moving.

During Ramadan we plan the work in the morning so the team finishes before iftar, and before Eid it is best to book a week ahead.
